About the Author
From 1988 to
1997, Evan J. Albright worked as a newspaper editor and
reporter on Cape Cod. During that period he won more than two dozen journalism
awards, including citations for investigative reporting, editorial writing and
four awards for general excellence in newspapers.
In 1996 he began researching what he thought would be a series of articles
on the history of Cape Cod crime. After a few days in the public library, it
became obvious that there was more material than he originally thought. To date
he has penned more than 150 articles and shows no sign of slowing.
His column on the history of Cape Cod crime and scandal called "Cape Cod
Confidential" is a feature at the
Cape Cod Today Web
site. The column has also appeared in many Cape Cod newspapers, including the
Upper Cape Codder, The Register and The Cape Codder.
Many of these columns are archived in this Web site.
Albright is currently a director of projects and communications for
Reed Business
Information, one of the world's largest publishers of business-to-business magazines.
RBI has more than 100 different titles in the United States alone, including Daily Variety,
Interior Design and Publishers Weekly magazines.
Albright lives on Cape Cod in the town of Bourne with his wife and two
children.
